Our Story

MERVEILLES (MRS STUDIOS) was founded to create fashion that is clean, effortless and approachable — bringing a sense of relaxed quality to everyday dressing. We believe in simplicity with substance: garments that feel as considered on the inside as they look on the outside.

Our philosophy centres on authentic, pared-back living — trusting yourself, choosing well, and wearing clothes that reflect who you are rather than what is trending. Every collection is designed to be mixed, layered and lived in.

Since our launch, we have grown a community of over 2,000,000 followers on Taobao alone — a testament to the connection our customers feel with the brand. We are now bringing that same vision to an international audience.

Design Philosophy

We are committed to clean lines, premium fabrics and thoughtful construction. Our design process starts with materials: we source selectively, working with specialist mills to develop textures and weights that drape, breathe and age beautifully.

Our palette is intentionally restrained — predominantly tonal neutrals that allow the quality of each fabric to speak for itself. When colour does appear, it is purposeful and considered. We favour timeless proportion over passing trends, investing our time in the quiet details: a perfectly weighted hem, a seam that follows the body, a collar that sits just so.

Quality & Craft

We manage our own production pipeline from our studio in Tongxiang, Zhejiang, China — from pattern cutting and sampling to final quality inspection. This allows us to maintain control over every detail without the traditional luxury markup.

Our wool coats use European-milled fabrics; our knitwear is developed in partnership with specialist producers who share our standards. Every garment is constructed with reinforced seams, clean interior finishing and hardware selected for longevity.

Our Studio

Our flagship studio and showroom is located in Tongxiang, Zhejiang, China — a light-filled, minimal space designed to reflect the same aesthetic as our collections. It is where every piece is conceived, sampled and perfected before it reaches you.

Sustainability

We produce in intentionally small quantities. Rather than chasing seasonal volume, we release focused collections and restock only what our customers genuinely want. This reduces waste and ensures that what we make is made to be worn, not discarded.

Our packaging uses recycled and recyclable materials. We are transparent about our supply chain and continuously work to reduce our environmental footprint at every stage of production.
