Our Story
MERVEILLES (MRS STUDIOS) was founded to create fashion that is clean, effortless and approachable — bringing a sense of relaxed quality to everyday dressing. We believe in simplicity with substance: garments that feel as considered on the inside as they look on the outside.
Our philosophy centres on authentic, pared-back living — trusting yourself, choosing well, and wearing clothes that reflect who you are rather than what is trending. Every collection is designed to be mixed, layered and lived in.
Since our launch, we have grown a community of over 2,000,000 followers on Taobao alone — a testament to the connection our customers feel with the brand. We are now bringing that same vision to an international audience.
Design Philosophy
We are committed to clean lines, premium fabrics and thoughtful construction. Our design process starts with materials: we source selectively, working with specialist mills to develop textures and weights that drape, breathe and age beautifully.
Our palette is intentionally restrained — predominantly tonal neutrals that allow the quality of each fabric to speak for itself. When colour does appear, it is purposeful and considered. We favour timeless proportion over passing trends, investing our time in the quiet details: a perfectly weighted hem, a seam that follows the body, a collar that sits just so.
Manufacturing
MRS Studios is a vertically integrated manufacturer. We run our own factory in Tongxiang, Zhejiang, one of China's principal textile centres, and we own every stage of the process: design, pattern cutting, sampling, knitting, cut-and-sew, finishing and final inspection. What carries our name is made on our own floor.
That reach is why our range is not confined to a single discipline. Across seventeen collection drops in the past twelve months we have produced knitwear, jersey, tailoring and outerwear, down, denim, leather, footwear and accessories — categories most brands have to split between separate contractors.
Owning the line also removes the layers a conventional luxury supply chain adds. We answer for a garment from its first pattern to its final inspection, and we price it without the intermediaries in between. Every piece is constructed with reinforced seams, clean interior finishing and hardware selected for longevity.
Fabric Sourcing
We buy cloth on merit, wherever in the world it is woven. Current collections use Consinee AURORA A-grade cashmere, TESEO silk woven in Como, Harris Tweed, Turkish BOSSA and ISKO denim, Japanese Bemberg cupro, Italian Limonta nylon, Supima and Pima cotton, Australian first-shear wool, Inner Mongolian camel hair and Hungarian white goose down.
Every garment states its full fibre composition, percentage by percentage, on its own product page. Where a fabric has a mill name worth knowing, we print it.
Showroom
Our design studio and showroom sit alongside the production floor in Tongxiang, Zhejiang, so a piece can go from sketch to sample without leaving the building.

Sustainability
We produce to demand rather than to forecast. Collections are released in focused drops and restocked only where our customers keep buying, which keeps unsold inventory — the largest single source of waste in this industry — off our shelves.
Owning the factory helps here too. Short internal lead times let us run a second batch in weeks rather than committing to a whole season's volume up front.
Our packaging uses recycled and recyclable materials. We are transparent about our supply chain and continuously work to reduce our environmental footprint at every stage of production.

Where We Operate
MRS Studios operates in both the United Kingdom and China.
All our garments are made in China, using fabrics and materials sourced selectively from mills around the world.
We hold stock in two locations: a UK warehouse and a China warehouse. Depending on the style, the size and current availability, your order may be dispatched from either. The product and our quality standards are identical whichever warehouse fulfils it.
