How to measure
- Bust around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level
- Waist around your natural waistline, the narrowest point of your torso
- Hip around the fullest part of your hips, approximately 20 cm below your waist
The Clara coat comes in two Suri alpaca cloths. Camel and the limited-edition Grey Brown are Italian Supermoda fabric of 75% Suri alpaca and 25% Australian virgin wool, full and warm with a fine, fur-soft nap; Black and White are 100% Andean Suri alpaca from Peru, silky with a natural lustre. Both drape well and hold their shape in a relaxed, straight H-line with minimal seaming.
Reworked from the classic Balmacaan, it keeps the trench coat's collar tab and sleeve tabs, with a concealed single-breasted placket showing one button at the collar, angled welt pockets and natural horn buttons engraved with the MRS Studios logo. Relaxed shoulders, an extended length and a smooth, breathable Japanese Bemberg cupro lining make it an easy layer for town and travel.
