A high-density cotton and hemp cloth put through a long slow-tumbling finish, which leaves a lightly aged loft and an unforced crease across the surface. It is soft against the skin yet keeps the backbone hemp gives, so the leg holds its shape rather than collapsing.

The cut is a clean straight leg at a cropped seven-eighths length, easy on the calf and cooling in warm weather. An internal elastic waistband works with a drawstring for adjustment, and the side pockets are bar-tacked at the opening.
